Dr. Gore is currently a faculty member at the University of Utah. Prior to the University of Utah, Dr. Gore held faculty appointments at Southern Illinois University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also served as the Director of the Career Transitions Research Department at ACT in Iowa City. Dr. Gore currently serves as the Chair of the Society for Vocational Psychology and on an Advisory Board to the VP of Science for the Society of Counseling Psychology. His research interests focus on the motivational aspects of high school and college students’ success, and on understanding and promoting effective career and life planning.
