Populations Served For the past eight years he has worked in variety of settings, which include: private and public medical hospitals, state and federal psychiatric hospitals, private practice, a community mental health center, a university psychology clinic, an elementary school, day treatment centers, physical rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. He provides psychotherapy and assessment to adolescents, children, adults, couples, and families to help with issues related to adjustment, anxiety, maladaptive behaviors, bereavement, depression, relationship challenges, substance abuse, and trauma.

Philosophical Orientation Dr. Lonigan uses an integrative approach to help the clients with whom he works affect meaningful change. His approach draws heavily from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy while utilizing a variety of interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, and Systems Theory.
